Video plans
Choose the right video for the message
Every package includes the planning, writing, production and finishing needed to turn your business knowledge into polished, practical video assets.
Each video is built around one clear purpose. It might introduce your business, explain a service, promote an offer, answer a common question, reassure a customer or encourage someone to take the next step.
The length is matched to the job. A straightforward message may only need 15 or 20 seconds. Something requiring more explanation may benefit from the full 30 seconds or a connected sequence of videos.
Your finished videos can be used on your website, in social media posts and adverts, in emails, in WhatsApp conversations or at other points in your customer journey.
Where suitable, physical products, packaging, photographs and supplied business assets can also be incorporated into the creative.
The right length for the job
Short enough to keep attention. Long enough to do the job.
Think about the television adverts you see every day. The standard UK television advert lasts around 30 seconds—long enough to introduce one clear idea, explain the benefit and encourage the viewer to take the next step.
The same principle applies to business videos.
A simple offer, reminder or reassurance message may only need 15 or 20 seconds. A website introduction, service explanation or product demonstration may need closer to 30 seconds. A broader subject may work better as a coordinated series of shorter videos.
We will recommend the most suitable length based on what the video needs to achieve, who needs to see it and where it will be used.
We never stretch a simple message unnecessarily or force a detailed explanation into too little time.

Approval and revisions
Important approval and revision information
Every package includes message planning, scriptwriting, approval before production, finished delivery files and the amendment rounds described above.
You will approve the script and creative direction before production begins.
Changes to an approved message, script or creative direction after production has started may be treated as additional work. If that happens, we will explain the work and any cost clearly before doing anything chargeable.
Physical products
Put your product in the picture
Words at Work can promote physical products as well as services.
Products, packaging, photographs and supplied brand assets can be incorporated into the creative where they help communicate the message clearly, across a wide range of physical product types.
A video could introduce a new product, demonstrate its purpose, highlight a feature, promote a special offer, show customers what they will receive or support a wider advertising campaign.
Where exact labels, colours, controls, claims or fine product details are important, we will explain any additional production requirements before anything chargeable is agreed.
These examples are there to show the style of presentation, not to limit the kinds of products you can feature.

Not sure which plan you need?
Tell us what you want the video to achieve
You do not need to decide the perfect length, write the script or plan every scene before speaking to us.
Tell us about the message, the intended audience and where you would like to use the video. We will recommend the most suitable approach and explain what can realistically be communicated within the available time.
Answers before you decide
How long will my video be?
The length depends on what the video needs to achieve. A simple promotional or reassurance message may only need 15 or 20 seconds. A website introduction, service explanation or product-focused video may benefit from the full 30 seconds. We will recommend the most suitable length before the script and creative direction are approved.
Why are the videos relatively short?
Short videos make it easier to focus on one clear message and encourage one clear action. A standard television advert lasts around 30 seconds, which is enough time to communicate a memorable idea without asking the viewer to sit through a lengthy presentation. Broader subjects can be divided into a coordinated series of shorter videos.
Where can I use my videos?
Your videos can be used on your website, social media, in paid advertising, emails, WhatsApp conversations, presentations and other parts of your customer journey. The appropriate formats are supplied as part of the package.
Do I have to appear on camera or write the script?
No. Words at Work provides the presenter and writes the script for you. You explain what your business does and what you want the video to achieve. We turn that information into the proposed message, script and creative direction for your approval.
What changes are included?
Every package includes one round of reasonable script amendments before approval and one round of minor finishing amendments after the first review version. Changes to an approved script, message or creative direction after production has begun may involve additional work. We will explain that before doing anything chargeable.
Can physical products be included?
Yes, where suitable. Products, packaging, photographs and supplied business assets can be incorporated into the creative. Where precise labels, colours, controls or product claims must be reproduced exactly, we will explain any additional production requirements first.
Do you guarantee results?
No responsible marketing service can guarantee a particular number of views, enquiries or sales. Words at Work creates polished video assets designed to explain the message clearly, strengthen the customer journey and encourage an appropriate next step.
